Historical Content- Marrying Into Wealth

Throughout this book the idea of marrying a wealthy man is critical. Mrs. Bennet is always tell her daughters to take any opportunity, they get, to marry a rich man. The book from the very beginning starts with this idea in mind. This was the very purpose of a woman. Wed into wealth an give birth to heirs, to inherit this wealth.

  1. What you said about the purpose of woman is so very true! Some woman are like that! All they want is a rich husband, have his kids, then when the husband dies, they take all the money! HaHa. But what you said about the book is also true too.

  2. Hahaha I so agree with Bria on this one!!! Its a shame how people only want some men for their money. Sometimes they leave the husband with the child and make them pay child support! Just sayin! But yea what happened to a nice looking good personality man that makes average money? Is that not good enough? Very very nice post!!!
